Priscilla Johnson

Priscilla Johnson

Insurance Professional

Priscilla has over a decade of experience helping people to select Medicare plans, as well as other financial products, that fit their specific needs. She started her career with a prominent national company and due to her excellent skill at understanding client needs, she achieved several top regional performance awards. Despite achieving high performance standards, she still felt that the client deserved more in terms of product offerings and decided to open her own practice that would enable a wider variety of product offerings to ultimately benefit the client.

Priscilla earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of South Carolina and a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy before answering God’s call to focus on financial solutions. She is fully dedicated to addressing the five main concerns for retirement: health coverage, asset protection, life insurance, legacy planning, and retirement income.

Jay Johnson

Jay Johnson

Financial Advisor

After graduating from the University of Nebraska with a degree in mechanical engineering, he served honorably in the United States Marine Corps for four years, where he received an honorable discharge as a Captain. Jay then started a career in the energy industry working for a Fortune 500 company across the globe. Over the course of 18 years, he held various roles in public and private sectors as a six sigma black belt, design engineer, program manager, general manager, and senior vice president of corporate operations. During that time, he earned an MBA from Colorado State University. He co-founded Simply Stated Retirement Solutions with the mission of providing independent and innovative financial strategies for retirees and pre-retirees, as well as providing customer service above and beyond expectations.

Jay is insurance licensed and has passed his Series 65 Securities exam, which allows him to provide financial and investment advice, as well as personally manage investment portfolios. As a fiduciary advisor, he is required to avoid conflicts of interest, operate with full transparency and do what is in the best interest of his clients when providing investment advice.

Jay chose to be an independent wealth advisor so he wouldn’t be limited in the tools and strategies he could provide to create the best possible retirement plans. He works with his clients to create holistic retirement plans that focus on five key areas of retirement: income planning, investment management, tax optimization planning, health and long-term care planning and estate planning.

He is devoted to his Christian faith, loves to spend time with his family and enjoys watching sports and fly-fishing. Jay currently resides in Bluffton, SC, with his wife Priscilla and two teenage children.
